Invitation to Tender

The Embassy of India, The Hague invites Lump-sum Fixed Price Tender for replacement of lead water pipes and installation of insulation flooring including laminat at residential property owned by Government of India in The Netherlands at Goudsbloemlaan 158, 2565 CX The Hague.

The Tender shall be submitted before 4:00 p.m. on or before 19th March 2021 to Head of Chancery, Embassy of India, Buitenrustweg 2, 2517 KD The Hague, The Netherlands. Any Tender received after this date and time will not be considered. Tender shall be evaluated by a Committee formed by the Embassy in this regard.

Scope of Work

  1. Replacement of lead water pipes as per standard prescribed by The Hague Municipality

  1. Installation of insulation flooring including laminat ( Area Approximate 100 square meter) [Furnished Flooring shall be such that no noise/inconvenience happens for the occupant of the flat just below]

  1. Disposal of Waste generated

Instruction to Bidders

  1. Contractor shall quote his Lump-sum Fixed Price (indicating BTW/VAT charges separately) based on the Scope of Work.

  1. Contractors are advised to visit the site before submitting the bid. The appointment can be requested at [email protected].

  1. Commencement of the works shall be effected within seven (7) days from the date of issue of acceptance letter.

  1. Work shall be completed within 5 days.

  1. Defects Liability period will be six months from completion of work. 5% of the Tender Value (excluding BTW) shall be retained by the Employer and paid after the defect liability period in case the work is satisfactory.

  1. There shall be no sub-contracting.

  1. The acceptance of the Tender shall be conditional and not binding upon the Employer. The Employer reserves the right to waive any deficiency in any tender.
