We are pleased to share that the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) are organizing the 15th edition of The Great Indian Travel Bazaar (GITB)—one of India’s flagship B2B platforms for the promotion of inbound tourism—from 26 to 28 April 2026 in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Since its inception in 2008, GITB has served as a key platform for strengthening international tourism partnerships and positioning India as a preferred global destination. The previous fourteen editions, organized jointly with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, have consistently attracted a strong participation of foreign tour operators, State Tourism Boards, and leading stakeholders from the Indian tourism industry. Each edition hosts over 280 foreign tour operators from more than 50 countries, enabling structured B2B interactions with Indian sellers under one roof.

In recent years, GITB has been further strengthened through thematic initiatives such as ‘Wed in India’ (2024) and ‘Meet in India’ (2025), organized jointly by the Ministry of Tourism and FICCI, to highlight India’s growing potential as a destination for weddings, conferences, exhibitions, and business events.

The selection of hosted foreign tour operators for GITB is undertaken by a Foreign Tour Operator Selection Committee, led by the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, and the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, with representation from leading inbound tour operators and hotels in India.

For your kind reference, selected foreign buyers will be hosted with the following facilities:

• Reimbursement of return economy-class international airfare from the nearest boarding point to Jaipur, Rajasthan
  
• Hotel accommodation for three (3) nights in Jaipur, inclusive of breakfast, during the event
  
• Two days of pre-scheduled B2B meetings with Indian exhibitors
  
• Complimentary shuttle services between the official hotel and the venue during the event period
